They elevate their lovers. The Dothraki horselords rule these plains. Braavos is to the north. South of the Dothraki Sea and the river Skahazadhan is Lhazar. Far to the North. The current Prince of Dorne. At the center of the Dothraki Sea lies the Mother of Mountains. And far to the south of the Dothraki Sea.

The Martells still rule from Sunspear on the eastern coast. The land of Yi Ti can be found along the Jade Sea. It lies far to the south. Some say there is a fourth type of Dornishmen. To travel further than Asshai is to enter the Shadow Lands. Many great houses and merchants trade with the nine Free Cities. Ser Arthur Dayne. They tend to dwell in the passes and heights of the Red Mountains.

Beyond Westeros A nd of lands beyond Westeros? The southern seas are made up of the Summer Sea and the Jade Sea. There is naught but ice beyond it. The eastern coast of Westeros borders on the narrow sea. Lord Doran Nymeros Martell. That marriage tied a strong knot between the Targaryens and the Martells. And the alien customs of the region.

Dorne has better relations with the Free Cities than perhaps anyone else in the Seven Kingdoms. They live along the coast and have the strongest Rhoynish blood.

There are several types of Dornishmen. The Free Cities are the closest to Westeros. This is not to say the journey is never made across this hostile territory. East of Pentos.

And the cities of Norvos and Qohor are both landlocked but serve as the gateway for the great caravans to domains further east. BB Higher-ranked individuals have more rights and powers than those of lower status. Robb and Jon. BB Authority runs from the king. They may defend the smallfolk. Beyond the city walls. And other themes run strong in ASIF. Nobility are born to their status. They are the sworn swords of their noble lords and are often the children of nobility.

BB Nobility have more rights and responsibilities than the smallfolk. Status in society dictates that a matter of birth can open a world of opportunities—or seemingly deny them forever. Nobles often betroth children at a very early age. The people of the North still cling to this belief. By custom. BB The king can pardon any criminal.

BB Marriage contracts can be broken. BB In the tradition of the First Men. BB Two-masted galleys. BB Siege weapons. BB Longbows and heavy crossbows are both common.

BB The realms to the east may have wondrous devices and strange advances. The faithful will pray that he guides their swords and lends strength to their shields. Followers of the Seven normally pray to one of the first six aspects—few pray to the Stranger. BB Chains forged from bronze. BB Maps of the stars and planets. The heart trees there are of a more common variety and uncarved. Godsworn will often carry a crystal prism with them to use in ceremonies. The Targaryens. Beneath the Great Septon are the Most Devoted. The old gods are the gods of the forests. She is the goddess of innocence and chastity. The godsworn give up any family names when they take their vows to prove that they are equal under the eyes of the gods. When the Rhoynar came to Dorne. Thus maesters sometimes come into disagreement with godsworn religious advisors or other courtiers like soothsayers or mystics. It is the only formal school of its kind and is the home of the maesters. Knights may choose their own personal arms that may be distinct from any family arms.
