Mayaman, gwapo at may abs. Oo, totoo may sinuntok siyang babae. So by this time alam niya ng very dominant ang mga personalities ng 2?

Tsk, ma men namen!

Birds with the same feather think alike?

Hindi ako nagbabasa ng wattpad, fiction press and the likes. View all 16 comments. Dec 05, RaiRaiKen rated it did not like it Shelves: This book is a symbol on how poor literacy is in the Philippines, or how the generation of today is sinking into a fantasy of God-knows-what and is quickly turning into apathetic persons.

This is disappointing. In Wattpad, I posted a chapter-by-chapter review regarding this book, you may read it here But here are my main reasons why this book deserves 0 to 1 star only: It's like Twilight but Twilight seems so much better now if it's compared to DNP ; it's sensat This book is a symbol on how poor literacy is in the Philippines, or how the generation of today is sinking into a fantasy of God-knows-what and is quickly turning into apathetic persons.

It's like Twilight but Twilight seems so much better now if it's compared to DNP ; it's sensational; it's what people talk about; it's a trendy plot that should be copied over and over again; it should be turned into a MOVIE! But just like Twilight, people will have to get over it sooner or later and move on with their lives. I've seen a lot of Twilight books in second-hand bookstores and even heard a lot of my used-to-be-Twilight-hard-fans friends wanting to throw them away already. I mean, really, which part or any book of the Twilight saga do you remember wholeheartedly?

I've read book 1. After reading it, I completely forgot what it was all about, except that Edward Cullen was a vampire disco ball. I don't know if the author has actually lived her life or if she's been trying to hide under a rock. She's young! A teen! A person who's supposed to be curious about the world, but she has limited her interests on Koreanovelas, manga and anime.

I'm surprised she's only two years younger than me and she's in college now, I guess.

Diary ng Panget: Nat’l Bookstore No. 1 Best Seller, Now with Book Two

DNP is set in a warped, Barney the Gay Dinosaur-lalaland version of the Philippines and with college student characters that don't even really do anything related to college or even know what it's like to be a college student. The author is like Garrett in the movie Flipped. When Bryce Loski asked Garrett what a rooster looked like: Is that a rooster? Nah, that looks like a chicken. How do you know? It just does. Do you guys see what I mean? When you're 19, you should at least know the few basic technicalities in life, like what happens when you try to apply for a job or how society pushes a person to be at least courteous when in public, and not act like a loon in a store like NBS.

Jul 19, Grace rated it did not like it. Borrowed a copy from a friend and I was really excited to read this but was not satisfied and was so disappointed. Wasted my one-sitting-read time in this book.

I should have just finished reading other really good reads on my tablet. Please guys, don't waste your pesos for this one.

I might give you a lot of reasons as to why you shouldn't. Baka abutin nga ng ilang taon yung mga rants ko about this book. But I'll make this simple. If you think you'll like it the story or maybe in general the book itself , I'm telling you right now it's a big NO.

The story? Masyadong simple. The characters?

Yung bida? Or she's just plainly stupid. Just pick from the two and it's still not going to get better. At ang pananalita niya, mukhang palengkera. Cross Sandford? Trying hard jokes. Tama na. Hindi nakakatawa eh. Masyadong pilit. Dagdagan mo pa ng corny tuwing may joke.

Diary ng Panget. So this is supposed to be written in a diary style. Nasaan ang diary style? Nasa dulo ng bawat chapter? I don't care whether the author is Filipino, but to be honest, the story doesn't even deserved to be published.

Am I being hard and rude? It's my review. View all 9 comments. Jul 02, Maria Ella rated it did not like it Shelves: Dear author, I am not your market - so stop selling this story line. This is too weak. To PBB Teens. I am not downloading this idea.

Good thing I never met you in a wattpad account, and good thing I am not into reading fanfiction anymore. The writing and delivery is "trying too hard". Jun 22, Phoebe Andamo rated it it was ok Shelves: Psicom is the publisher.

I read some of their books and I guess this publishing house really aims for mainstream marketing; it is confirmed again as I read "Diary ng Panget". The cover art of Diary ng Panget is like a fanart, it's cute.

The only background I have is that it was popular in Wattpad and the author is younger than me. I don't expect too much from Wattpad but I think it's one of the places for budding writers so let's give a twirl! When I read the first part, I think that its target i Psicom is the publisher. When I read the first part, I think that its target is the mass readers. It was a struggle for me to read this part as the persona shifts from Tagalog to English inconsistently, however, I got used to it eventually.

The heroine has a kalog loose and friendly personality as if she's really speaking to you as her bestfriend. I got friends who talks like that in real life but when it is for reading lines like that, it's a let down. I continued reading it like I was the persona like I do in other novels who uses first person but I really can't, so I imagine that the persona was my girl friend. Still, I can't picture her a Eya so I imagined another friend--my gay friend, and it fits!

But that imagination was also obliterated as I go through some chapters thank God. I think that I will really enjoy this if I hear Eya talking to me in real life--not reading it. I also think that it'll fit as a script in television dramas or chick flick. You know, the commercialized kind of thing. This is the epitome of a fiction with characters that represent the extremities of the personalities.

I'm rating this as an okay. I don't like it but I don't hate it. It's fine And this is a break for me; reading law books for four consecutive weeks, I can't anymore! Well, the preference will always differ to the ones who will read it. I wish good luck to the writer. View all 21 comments. Apr 06, Joli Soo rated it really liked it.

All in All nagustuhan ko talaga siya! View 1 comment.

Jun 02, Cicay Foutley rated it really liked it Recommends it for: Kpop fanatics.

My Sassy Girl ang peg?

Diyos ko day. Jul 19, Trinie Romualde rated it it was ok.

HaveYouSeenThisGirl, Diary ng Oanget. Psicom Publishing, Inc. Also, her attitude reflects the common thoughts of Filipina teen-agers. Anong meron sa title? Bakit naman ganun? Even my Korean students thought that DNP is a manga.

I mean, we have to consider continuous flow of events and economy of words when writing.

Bitchy ba? Para bang kakainin nang buhay si Eya? It may be confusing dahil walang detail na magsasabi kung paano natapos ang pag-uusap ng EYOSS lalo na at walang distinct spacing na maghihiwalay sa prior at succeeding event.

Again, please consider economy of words. We always have to have clear and smooth flow of ideas din po.

I use my pepperspray as protection from bad people and aliens and dinosaurs since gabi na ako umuuwi.

We also have to consider the age bracket of most DNP readers—too young to realize that what Chad may be anti-feminism. Pagkatapos ng ilang saglit, ngumiti siyang muli, oh that killer smile!

I feel like melting! Ngumiti ulit siya pagkatapos ng ilang saglit. Oh, that killer smile!

Walang problema, pagkatapos ng klase mo at part time tsaka ka dumiretso sa anak ko just do your job well and I hope tumagal ka talaga sa kanya. Alam mo na, kelangang English Speaking for business purposes sa other countries.

From now on I will call you peppy, shortcut sa pepperspray!

Ever heard of RA ? Tapos may follow-up pang death threat si Lory?

P from every avid reader is not a joke, tama po ba? Therefore, the price paid for the book has to be compensated well. Well-furnished book lang, okay na. Lilinawin ko lang po, I have nothing against Denny. I adore her writing actually. View all 13 comments. Jun 21, Jersey rated it it was ok Recommended to Jersey by: Friends and classmates.
